By paying for these construction documents (house plans), 5 Elements Design grants you (the Licensee) a nonexclusive right to use the plans to construct ONE house from these documents. Additional licenses may be purchased by ordering online or contacting 5 Elements Design.

Making Copies: You are provided one reproducible copy of plans. Your license allows you to create copies as needed for your house.

Local Codes: Our house plans and construction documents are drawn to meet general building requirements, but may not meet all local building codes. It is your responsibility to consult with your builder or local code agency to ensure the plans meet local requirements.

Purchase: All sales are final.

Transferability: A license to build is granted to the person named on the order form and cannot be transferred to another party.

Liability: 5 Elements Design, nor anyone else involved in creating the house plans or delivering construction plans shall be liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, or incidental.

Indemnification: The licensee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless 5 Elements Design and all associated parties for any and all claims, losses or damages resulting from using these construction documents.

Copyright: 5 Elements Designs retains copyright and ownership of the construction documents and drawings of the house plans, including any changes created. The original documents are not for sale and remain the copyright of 5 Elements Design. The Licensee is granted rights to make copies to build ONE building for each house plan ordered. Other copying is unauthorized and a violation of the copyright for which the Licensee may be held responsible for copyright infringement.

Construction: 5 Elements Design has not been hired for construction supervision and bears no responsibility that final construction conforms to these plans, or for the construction means, methods, techniques, sequences, procedures or safety precautions before, during or after the construction work.
