The MOD 15 modern house plan is created by combining three different modules into different floor plans and elevations.

Choosing from the living, sleeping and bedroom suite models, the MOD 15 is 1500 sq ft, with up to 5 bedrooms and 2.5-3 baths. The modules can be combined in many different ways to take advantage of views and family needs.

Like the MOD 5 and MOD 10, the MOD 15 has a small footprint, and is designed to allow construction with SIP’s or modular methods, passive solar heat, grey water use with only one plumbing wall, and the flat roof also allows for solar panel installation or a green roof to help lower energy costs.

A two story, 1500 sq ft modern house plan (front view seen above) that includes the living, sleeping and bedroom suite modules in a simple elevation plan. Features include passive solar heat transfer and open floor plan living, with privacy for the master bedroom suite off the large deck that connects to the living area with sleeping quarters above. The MOD 15 includes a kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, range/oven, sink, and built-in pantry, as well as a dining nook, family room, powder room, laundry, closet built-ins, and double faced fireplace with a built in bench to enjoy the heat.
