Built on a pier and beam system, the Stilts architectural tectonics plan allows winds and breezes to flow under and over the house to environmentally control the interior temperature naturally. Eco friendly, the Stilts references wind and water and reminds one of houses found on coastal plains and areas susceptible to flooding or high waters. Enhancing the green design is a playful pitched roofing system that allows rain water to be collected in a cistern.
